Starring Kaya Scodelario (Skins,The Maze Runner) as Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) as Jill Valentine, Tom Hopper (Black Sails) as Albert Wesker, Neal McDonough (Star Trek: First Contact, The 100, Project Blue Book) as William Birkin, Robbie Amell (The Flash) as Chris Redfield, Donal Logue (Gotham) as Chief Brian Irons, Avan Jogia (Now Apocalypse) as Leon S. Kennedy, Lily Gao (Letterkenny, The Expanse) as Ada Wong.
With so much talent they might as well make a Resident Evil TV series!
Directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) the movie will be an origin story taking place in 1998 with elements from the first and second Resident Evil games. Major characters Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, and Chris Redfield will appear in the movie!
The movie is set for September 3, 2021 release.
