Dr. Fate also known as Kent Nelson was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Howard Sherman and first appeared in More Fun Comics #55 (May 1940).

In the comics, Kent Nelson discovers the tomb of the wizard Nabu and is trained in the ways of sorcery to fight evil forces. He is the founding member of Justice Society of America (JSA). Doctor Fate has various powers such as spellcasting, flight, superhuman strength, telekinesis, telepathy, pyrokinesis, lightning, teleportation, healing, force fields, ice manipulation, immateriality, and traversing parallel Earths!

Black Adam is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (House of Wax) and stars Dwanye Johnson as Black Adam aka Teth-Adam/Theo Adam. The movie will also introduce Noah Centineo as Al Rothstein / Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall / Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkell / Cyclone.

Black Adam was created by Otto Binder, and C. C. Beck  and is one of the strongest characters in the DC Universe. He is a supervillain anti-hero, and the archenemy of Captain Marvel, Shazam. Black Adam is as strong if not stronger than Black Adam.
