Lucy Liu is joining the cast of the next Shazam! film, Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The actress will play a villain called Kalypso.
Liu has quite the career from film and TV starring in big movies and series. It was only a matter of time before Liu joined comic book universe. Fans of Liu will certainly enjoy her appearance in Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

Helen Mirren is also set to appear in the film as Hespera a villainous character from the DC Comics.
David F. Sandberg returns as director, along with Zachary Levi as Shazam.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set for June 2, 2023
