Star Trek: Discovery First Look TRAILER!

 

After much delay, and doubt about the future of Star Trek: Discovery, we finally get a glimpse of how the new Trek series will look.

The First Look Trailer and photos have finally appeared online. These were initially unveiled at a private CBS Upfront event.

Sonequa Martin-Green, the star of Star Trek: Discovery, unveiled the first-look trailer and key art for the new series earlier today at the CBS Upfront presentation at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

 

UPDATE: The trailer seems to not be available to everyone. Region blocked, or removed entirely by the broadcaster CBS.

It also appears to be on official CBS.com, as well as the Canadian youtube channel Space.

We get a good look at Captain Georgiou played by Michelle Yeoh, and “Number One” aka Michael Burnham played by Sonequa Martin-Green, and their dynamic with the rest of the alien crew. We also see the NEW Klingon design.

The look of Star Trek: Discovery is slick in the style of the Star Trek movie reboots, with lens flares, the cast is diverse, and the tone is dark but adventurous.

This is a good first look teaser but there is potential for so much more!

The last big announcement for Star Trek: Discovery was the April Fools Day casting reveal of Rainn Wilson as Harry Mudd.

We’re PUMPED to see more of Star Trek: Discovery this FALL 2017.
