Captain Marvel

The first trailer for Captain Marvel is finally here! It debuted on Good Morning America, and was announced all over Marvel’s social media.

Brie Larson stars as Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot / Captain Marvel, and Samuel L. Jackson appears as a young Nick Fury, well as Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson. Jude Law, and Lee Pace also appear.

The movie takes place back in the 90s as the origin story of the title character.

Just reading comments on the official Marvel Youtube channel, the trailer has been met with mixed reaction. While some praise the movie for focusing on a female lead as Marvel’s version of Wonder Woman. Others say they are underwhelmed by the trailer, and the character itself.

Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019.
