THE WITCHER: BLOOD ORIGIN

Michelle Yeoh is attached to the upcoming The Witcher prequel series. The news comes ahead of WitcherCon The Witcher event to be steamed July 9th, 2021.

The Witcher: Blood Origin is set 1200 years before The Witcher. Yeoh will play a character called Scian. Scian is a sword-elf and the last of her nomadic tribe.

“When a chance presents itself to retrieve a stolen sacred sword, taken from her fallen tribe by nefarious means, she launches herself into a deadly quest that will change the outcome of the Continent.”

Also joining the series is Laurence O’Fuarain who will play a warrior called Fjall.

“fighting beside the most unlikely of allies as he carves a path of vengeance across a continent in turmoil.”

Blood Origin is set for a six-episode limited series.

Michelle Yeoh is certainly very busy. Looks like we won’t be seeing a Star Trek Section 31 series after all. Michelle Yeoh is set to appear in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Avatar 2, and sequels.
