The actor announces retirement after the controversy around his short film Howard Cantour.com.

The short film is based on the short comic strip Justin M. Damiano by Daniel Clowes. Clowes is known for Ghost World, Art School Confidential. No where in the Howard Cantour.com credits, is Clowes mentioned, while LaBeouf passes the film off as his original idea. It played at Cannes Film Festival in 2012, and was released online, but was recently taken down amid the backlash.
