PLAIN JANE OR HELLA LAME?

 

Supergirl will be getting her own series. The show is set to premiere late 2015-2016 season on CBS.

Melissa Benoist will be playing the alien superhero Kara Zor-El who in the show will be 24 years old. The cousin of Superman. The show may crossover to The Flash and Arrow.

Wholesome for family entertainment, Benosit looks like the girl next door, very non-threatening. Almost a little too plain? The uniform colors and materials are similar to ‘Man of Steel’ in tone. The costume was designed by Colleen Atwood.

The show is produced by Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler, Sarash Schechter, Andrew Kreisberg.
