MASTER OF THE DARK ARTS

Constantine is making the leap to small screen. The new NBC  television series based on the Vertigo Comics’ Hellblazer comic book stars actor Welsh Matt Ryan as John Constantine, the antihero detective of the occult, who fights demons while trying to win his way to Heaven.

This is definitely not your Americanized Keanu Reeves version of Constantine. Though the 2005 movie was pretty cool visually. This new series looks to be a return to the gritty characterization of the comic series, even with the British accent.

With visual effects, and creature make-up effects, Constantine could be an amazing show, and a winner for NBC this Fall.
