BEFORE BATMAN

DC Entertainment and FOX Broadcasting present GOTHAM the origin story of Commissioner Gordon as a rookie detective on the Gotham streets. Rebooting  the Batman franchise for television audiences the prequel series introduces viewers to a much younger cast of villains; tween, and teenage versions of Selina Kyle, Bruce Wayne, and company. Hollywood just won’t stop with prequels, and reboots, and Batman is no exception.

No doubt, fans will tune in to watch the detective drama unfold, but do we really need to see the juvenile angst?
