Robos

SaviOne aka Botlr is a service robot for the hospitality industry. It’s being developed by Savioke, and is currently on duty at Aloft Cupertino. Botlr mission is simple: deliver items to guests.  The design might remind you of R2-D2, even the sounds it makes will make you think of Star Wars.

It may not be as efficient as a human doing room service —  by physically walking to a guest room — but for guests of Aloft Cupertino, having a robot around means you don’t have to leave a tip…
