THE BEGINNING

It’s here, it’s finally here! The official Warcraft movie trailer has set the internet on fire. The movie now titled Warcraft: The Beginning has reached over 3 million views on Youtube posted by Legendary Pictures.

If you compare the comments about the new trailer on various forums, and blogs, fans seem to be divided by the choice in CGI and Live-action style. Instead of going full AVATAR with the actors, the movie is half animation have live-action and very heavy on animation.  Some call the style too cartoony, while the humans are out of place among the creatures and Orcs. Others say the Orcs are too realistic. One thing is for sure, there is definitely something off-looking about the visual effects in the trailer.

Perhaps these shots are unfinished and are bound to change by the summer 2016 release date.

Fans also think that the trailer is a bit flat, lacking true ‘epicness’. Despite websites and media saying that the trailer is ‘EPIC’, fans are commenting otherwise.  Typical scenes that audiences have seen before with movies like The Lord of the Rings, and other Hollywood blockbusters, Warcraft: The Beginning seems all too familiar.
