Planet of the Apes 2016

Alexander Skarsgard stars as Tarzan in The Legend of Tarzan. Margot Robbie as Jane Porter (Suicide Squad), Samuel L. Jackson as George Washington Williams (The Hateful Eight), and Christoph Waltz as Captain Rom, also appear in the movie.

Created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in 1912 the original novel Tarzan of the Apes has stood the test of time.  It has spawned numerous publications, TV and movie adaptations. Some of you might remember Disney’s Tarzan (1999), which was a landmark for traditional hand drawn animation, and computer graphics.

The Legend of Tarzan is the latest attempt at bringing the Tarzan story to the big screen. Using a darker style similar to Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011).

The movie hits theaters July 2016.
