Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner redefined the visual aesthetics of a dystopian future in Hollywood movies. The sci-fi noir, starring Harrison Ford as a android hunter who is tracking down ‘Replicants’ is a true movie classic inspiring the imaginations of storytellers, creative, and technical people for generations.
Filmmakers like the Wachowskis, have professed their love for Blade Runner which was based on “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” a novel by Philip K. Dick.
With the sequel in the works. There’s a lot to live up to that hasn’t already been done by copycat sci-fi films and TV series.
