STAR TREK

Christopher Plummer dies at age 91. The actor has a long career with many credits but most people would know him for The Sound of Music, or Pixar’s Up.

Plummer was born in Canada, and started his career in theater, and on Canadian television at CBC. He eventually moved to the UK, and the USA.

Star Trek fans might know Christopher Plummer best from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) where he played the epic Klingon General Chang. Possibly the best movie villain in cinema history.

Star Trek 6 was a unique film and is essentially science fiction theater, perfect fit for Plummer who was a Shakespearean actor.

Christopher Plummer and William Shatner where in the same theatre company in Montreal.
