GRUB | TIM HORTONS REPLACES SNACK WRAP WITH MESSY GRILLED WRAP DISASTER

Canadian’s loved the snack wrap at Tim Hortons. It was cheap ($2), and tasty (chicken cubes), but most of all it left little to no mess. They were the perfect snack.
The popular Canadian fast food chain decided to cut the snack wrap from their menu, replacing it with a bigger Grilled Wrap or Grill Lunch Wrap. It appeared over the summer, which Tim Hortons announced on their Twitter feed.

The $5 ($4.99) Grill Wrap can be ordered with Chipotle Chicken or Beef. The wrap comes packaged in a paper holder, similar to the McDonald’s Apple Pie.
What’s supposed to be a neat little way for transporting and eating the wrap has turned into probably the worst idea ever. Was there no focus group testing on this product?
Canadian customers so disturbed by their Grilled Wrap experience, have begun photographing the mess and venting their frustrations over Twitter.

Messy, poor packaging, expensive. The sauce leaks through the corners of the packaging.
Tim Hortons founded in 1964, in Ontario Canada, was recently purchased by Burger King, together they formed Restaurant Brands International. The merger, caused many to question the future of Tim Hortons.
Will quality standards lower because of the international expansion of Tim Hortons?
