Ni hao, gimme some of that Bao!
New York City, goes bonkers for Baohaus. The East Village eatery is offering up a unique and tasty twist to the traditional Taiwanese steam bun. We had a chance to check out the shop and sample some of the goods.
Eddie Huang is the mastermind behind Baohaus, a fusion of Asian and American culture, but not in a shitty Americanized Panda Express kind of way. Rather Eddie’s take on street food is fresh, clean and satisfying with an urban New Yorker vibe. These Baos may look small, but they are really quite filling and the fries are pretty kick ass too. We dig the menu, and quality of Baohaus.
