Steven Soderbergh’s ‘The Knick’ has been renewed for a second season. If you missed the first season, you better catch up! The period drama follows a group of surgeons in New York City, during the period of archaic medical practices in the early  twentieth century.

The series offers a unique style, with hand-held filming, sharp writing, and even an electronic soundtrack. It deals with racism, addiction, crime for the medical community. Definitely worth watching.
