The Future Through HoloLens.

 

Microsoft recently had a Windows 10 event, unveiling refinements to their popular operating system, while announcing updates to their mobile apps, as well as introducing a bigger 4K Microsoft Surface.

But what really stole the show was Microsoft’s new Augmented Reality headset, HoloLens.

Microsoft is hoping that this will add a new dimension to computing by incorporating 3D computer graphics and manipulating 3D images through the eyewear.

Yes, it’s like Minority Report.

But will it be a hit with mainstream consumers?

With the Google Glass backlash from the public, Google is going back to the drawing board with a new design in the works. This seems like a good time for Microsoft to step into the spotlight with their tech.

HoloLens has been in development for several years. It features multiple cameras to track motion. Think of it like Microsoft Kinetic on your face!

Unlike other headsets that tout an ‘immersive’ experience, HoloLens is all about transforming the world around you.
