HALOZ

Fans of the Halo franchise have been waiting a long time for a live-action adaptation of the popular videogame series.

There’s been numerous fan-films, commercials, and Hollywood rumor about a Halo-movie in some form. Previously attached to the series was Peter Jackson (The Hobbit), and Neill Blomkamp (District 9).

Halo: Nightfall is a episodic XBOX Originals exclusive series with Ridley Scott as the headlining producer.  It introduces new characters like Jameson Locke which the story centers on.

Taking place between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: Nightfall is Locke’s origin story which will lend insight and understanding into the character he becomes in Halo 5: Guardians.

Remember, that just because Ridley Scott has his name attached to this, that doesn’t guarantee that Halo: Nightfall will be any good.
