Actor Yaphet Kotto has passed away at the age of 81. Sinahon Thessa announced on Facebook.
I’m saddened and still in shocked of the passing of my husband Yaphet of 24 years. He died last night around 10:30pm Philippine time.
This is a very painfall moment for me to inform you all fans, friends and family of my husband.
Thessa who is the wife of Yaphet Kotto goes on to say that Kotto has movie offers for G.I. Joe, and ‘Tom Cruise movie.’
Kotto has many credits in TV and film dating back to 1964!
Most sci-fi fans know Kotto from Ridley Scott’s Alien 1979. He played Parker the chief engineer as part of the Nostromo crew.
