The story introduces Covenant, a human colony ship that travels to a remote planet where David seems to be the only inhabitant. On the ship is Daniels (Katherine Waterston). When David and Daniels meet, what could possibly go wrong?
You’re probably wondering, what happened to Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace)? It’s possible that because of the time that passes from Prometheus to the current time in Alien: Covenant, that Dr. Shaw has died. Possible natural causes or something more sinister.
Helmed by Ridley Scott director of Alien the 1979 horror sci-fi classic that launched the Xenomorph into popular culture, while redefining sci-fi horror, Alien: Covenant is shaping up to be an intriguing sci-fi movie that would fit right in with the Alien franchise.
