UWE BOLL RESTAURATEUR

Surprise, surprise, filmmaker Uwe Boll is still around. This time he’s talking about opening an Austrian-themed restaurant, and he has concerns over the housing situation in Vancouver, BC. After all this is the city where the infamous director makes all his videogame-to-movie adaptations. He’s pretty much a local Vancouverite.

Boll wants an empty slum house gone from the neighbourhood, as well he wants to open up a high-end restaurant in Vancouver’s Gastown downtown eastside area. The restaurant is to be called Bauhaus.

Don’t worry gamers, Boll isn’t planning to compete with local geek eateries like Storm Crow or EXP Restaurant + Bar. No, Boll’s restaurant is totally non-gaming related.

I guess when you make tons of money as a filmmaker, you can do things aside from torment gamers for a change… regardless if the movies are well-received by critics.
