Han Solo: A Star Wars Story

Disney now has a new Han Solo for the stand-alone Star Wars movie. Deadline reports, Alden Ehrenreich has been cast as young Han Solo.

You might not be too familiar with this actors work.   He most recently appeared in Hail Caesar!.

Even further back, Alden Ehrenreich got his first big movie break with director Francis Ford Coppola in 2009 for his indie feature film Tetro. Sorry Disney, Coppola tapped that first.

Harrison Ford of course appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Disney is expanding on the Han Solo story hoping to reboot Han Solo as a successful series of films.

Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is currently in pre-production. It is expected for a May 25, 2018 release.
