LIFE | UBER FAIL MAN CHARGED $1,110 FOR 60 MIN UBER RIDE IN CANADA ON NEW YEARS EVE SURGE PRICING PEAK TIME
UBER HORROR STORY
Edmonton, Alberta – A man was charged $1,100 for Uber ride. It was a 60-minute trip on New Years Eve, which is for the most part considered ‘peak time’, meaning surge pricing.
He now wants his money back, or at least part of it. He speaks to CTV News hoping to warn others who plan on taking Uber.
Clearly, this guy didn’t even bother to do his own research before taking the Uber ride.
Should Uber give the man partial refund? #ubersucker
Meanwhile in other parts of the world…
More #Ubersurge
Uber charged us $356 last night to go 6 miles… My friend complained and got it down to $266….. #ubersurge is ridiculous. -_-

***UPDATE JAN 3, 2016***
The man gets a partial refund from Uber. How does the Uber driver feel about that??? If every idiot customer complained and got refunds, then drivers won’t get paid properly during the surge peak time! The Uber system is broken if you are a driver, or a passenger! Uber wins, however.
