GEAR | THE MARTIAN MOVIE COOL NASA HOODIE FUNNEL NECK SNOODIE

Ridley Scott makes good movies. He makes good movies with cool clothes.

When Prometheus hit the theaters in 2012, fans noticed the funnel neck hoodie from the movie worn by the character Milburn. Forum threads were devoted to finding the exact hoodie (snoodie, or snood), or at least something similar to it.

And now with The Martian, another hoodie worn on the big screen has caught the attention of fans. The ‘Chris Beck Hoodie’ worn by actor Sebastian Stan. Though this hoodie is not as wide or loose fitting as the one that appeared in Prometheus, it has some details on the shoulders and arms.

Cold space travel never looked so comfy and cool.

Janty Yates,  a costume designer who has worked with Ridley Scott on many of his movies, from Gladiator, Prometheus, to The Martian, and now the upcoming Alien: Covenant, has an eye for modern and futuristic gear.

The hoodie itself could be from Nike or Under Armour. Both had marketing deals tied in with The Martian. Unfortunately, this hoodie does not appear on the Nike or Under Armour websites.

We will have to continue searching the internet, to find what kind of hoodie this is!
