U.S.S. Discovery

The new Star Trek series exclusive to CBS ALL ACCESS has an official title Star Trek: Discovery, revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. The new show based on Star Trek franchise created by Gene Roddenbery, follows the adventures of the starship U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031.

That’s right Trekkies, no more Starship Enterprise! Bryan Fuller will be showrunner of this new exciting series.

Discovery looks to put adventure, and discovery at the center of the series. Two areas that were lacking in the Star Trek reboot movies.

The design of the NCC-1031 looks to be a more nimble, smaller, slimmer version of the Enterprise, in a metallic gold. It looks like a combination of a triangle and a pancake.

Star Trek: Discovery premieres January 2017 on the CBS Television Network with the premiere and all subsequent episodes available exclusively on CBS All Access.
