HAUS OF ICE CREAM SANDWICHES
We had a chance to try Coolhaus a gourmet Ice Cream Sandwich shop operating several food trucks and carts all over New York City.
Coolhaus (pronounced “CoolHouse”), offers unique and creative flavors from the more daring Chocolate Chipotle BBQ w/ Jack Daniels, Candied Bacon and Pistachio Truffle to the classic Double Chocolate, you can choose your 2 soft freshly baked cookies and get a generous scoop of handmade, all-natural, organic Ice Cream wrapped up in a customizable, edible wrapper.
The cookies themselves come in an array of tasty creations such as Peanut Butter Crunch, Red Velvet and Potato chip & Butterscotch.
I sampled the Peanut Butter Cookie, Double Chocolate with Sea salt and filled it with a delicious scoop of Peanut Butter ice cream. It was absolutely divine. A truly heavenly ice cream sandwich, that will leave you wanting more.
Whether you are looking for a pick me up in the middle of the day or a dessert to follow your lunch, a Coolhaus ice cream sandwich is the perfect treat! New cookies and ice cream flavors are constantly being added.
