We get it Sony! Playstation Originals is your new streaming video service. We get that you are a corporate entity with a diverse portfolio — everything from tech, gaming, to entertainment. We get that it’s your job to make money at every opportunity.

But really…

Did you need to turn  ‘Powers’ a beloved comic series into what is essentially, an episodic commercial?

If all shows on Playstation Originals content suffers from this much gadget product placement, then seriously, we may just tune out.

Based on the current feedback that ‘Powers’ has been getting for it’s lackluster debut, Playstation Originals seems to only exist for the purpose of plugging products. Who cares about creating engaging quality ‘Originals’, right? It’s all about the products!

For quality original series, go to Netflix instead.
