BB-8 BY SPHERO

Just in the for the holidays. With the return of Star Wars with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, comes some serious marketing, and with that comes some serious toys!

The BB-8 app-enabled smartphone controlled toy is probably the most impressive thing to hit store shelves. It’s designed to be an exact copy of the film version in the design and details, a sci-fi droid made a REALITY.

Truly impressive! Though it remains to be seen how durable the paint job is on BB-8. Rolling around on carpet is one thing, but and hard or rocky surfaces might not be the best.

BB-8 retails for $150.00. So it’s not exactly for every budget. It will be on sale at various retailers Amazon, Best Buy, starting tonight MIDNIGHT.
